This is a nasty little ritual/weapon that I came up with a while back. Presented here with stats for D20Modern, Kult and my own FreeForm system. The Second Stage of growth for the fetus gun is forthcoming. Hope you enjoy.

Fetus Gun – First Stage
Components: Revolver, six rounds loaded inside, large glass jar filled with human blood, small vial of semen from the person whom the gun is for,
Spell: The revolver is placed inside the jar; the Ritualist then performs the ritual around the jar ending it by adding in the semen. The jar is then buried in the ground in an area that is perpetually damp and warm, this can be an artificially created place.
One month later the jar is dug up. The blood will now be a clear liquid and there will be a fleshy growth around the revolver. An umbilical cord will be running from the handle of the gun to the jar lid. This must be removed carefully.
The gun cannot be reloaded normally, the cylinder cannot be opened or the gun will 'die'. To be reloaded the umbilical cord must be attached to the users body, it will act as a suction device pulling out blood and nourishment. It takes about 6 hours for a new bullet to be regenerated. If the bullet is not removed from the victim it will feed off of that person doing additional damage. The slug appears normal unless it is broken open in which it reveals an organic center resembling that of a tiny fetus. This will grow into the victim of the gunshot, eventually causing his death.
When fired the gun still makes its normal sound, although a bit muffled since there is membrane covering the cylinder now. But it also lets out a high-pitched scream each time. The user can feel it tense in his hand like muscle tightening up. It will also begin to bleed, just a trickle with one shot but if all six are fired the gun will be coated.
The gun will only work in the hands of the person who contributed their semen, or for those who are of close genetic relation (parent, full siblings, children, etc).

System Stats
D20 Modern – Fetus Gun – Stats are that of original revolver used. The DC is not applicable in though, as the person wanting the gun would have to negotiate with a ritualist who can do the magic, this is due to the guns being custom made for the user. But a close range to go by would be around 30 to 33. Damage per hour that bullet is in victim = 1d6. User looses 1 hit point per bullet created these are recovered normally.

D20 Modern – Creating the Fetus Gun - Ritualist Level 3, Time: 5 hours for initial ritual, then 1 hour for proper removal from jar.

FreeForm – Fetus Gun – Damage is same as gun used. Victim is considered to have a non-healing –1 wound during the first day the bullet goes without being removed. This increased to a –2 the second day and so on. The user makes a resolution roll, modifiers from health are applicable, if failed he suffers a –1 for the creation of a bullet.

FreeForm – Creating the Fetus Gun – Must be a ritual user. Time: 5 hours for initial ritual, then 1 hour for proper removal from jar. Ritual is a –2 level, modifiers as gm wishes.

Kult – Fetus Gun – Damage is same as gun used. Damage per hour that bullet is in victim = 1 scratch. User takes one scratch per bullet created and the damage is recovered normally.

Kult – Creating the Fetus Gun – Pain Lore Rating 15 Endurance cost: 35 Magical Implements: The Sword Protective Circle: Not needed Invocation: Complicated formula discussing the blending of meat and metal and the artificial creation of a new life Gestures: Walking around the jar, waving sword over it and a preset pattern Visualization: Life being torn from the ingredients and pulled into the gun itself, an act of pain on the subconscious level Duration: - Casting time: 5 hours






Okay here is the second stage of the Fetus Gun. The third stage is just notes right now so it will take a little longer for me to get it done. Also there are more than three stages. Right now it looks to be about five. Once I get it done I will put in pdf section into three parts, three "Trimesters" if you will.

Fetus Gun ? Second Stage

After 23 rounds have been created inside the gun the umbilical cord will not detach from user after creating the 24th. It has grown into the body of its owner. Forcibly removing the cord or severing it any way causes the person much pain and kills the gun. There is also a link created between the two, in the back of his head the owner now always has a feeling of emotional connection to the gun, a feeling that is somehow like that of a mother to the gun. The feeling is also somewhat incomplete.
Within one hour the veins along the gun will have a pulse matching that of its owner. It will bleed if damaged and some of that pain is transferred into the attached person. Also the fleshy coating will start to develop a more natural skin tone, although veins will be very visible throughout it. A small soft knot will develop under the barrel up against the cylinder; another will start along the sides of the cylinder.
The bullets now take 3 hours to regenerate and cause no damage to the owner during that time. Whenever one if finished being ?created? the user automatically knows it. The bullets themselves have changed as well. If dug out of a target they appear to be made of bone with small slits along their sides. Along with this they do more damage to living beings they are imbedded in. When fired they make a quite screeching sound, sort of like a muffled scream.

D20 Modern ? The damage per hour the bullet remains in the target is now 2D6. The user no longer suffers damage for bullets created. If the user tries to remove the cord he has to make a successful Will Savings Throw or be unable to do it.

FreeForm - Damage is same as gun used. Victim is considered to have a non-healing ?1 wound during the first half day the bullet goes without being removed. This increased to a ?2 the second half day and so on. The user no longer suffers damage for bullets created. If the user tries to remove the cord he has to make a resolution roll at ?3 with additional modifiers determined by the GM (ex. +1 for those with very high resolve).

Kult - Damage is same as gun used. Damage per hour that bullet is in victim = 2 scratches. . The user no longer suffers from damage or bullets created. If the user tries to remove the cord he has to make a successful EGO check at +3 to the roll or be unable to do it.
